The Wohnothek is a hotel complex placed right in the middle of a vineyard. Each building consists of a bedroom and a bathroom. From each entry of the buildings, there are only a few meters to the next vine branch.

A trip through Burgenland wouldn’t be complete without taking photos of storks. One can see their nests on many roofs in the easternmost state of Austria. Coincidentally, I found the nest with the most storks on top of a house that bore the name Burgenland.

At Lockenhaus Castle I stayed at the room ‘Elisabeth’. Whereas the furniture was old fashioned, the bathroom was pretty modern. It was a corner room so I had a great view of the place Lockenhaus and parts of the castle itself.
