This sculpture is one of twelve donor portraits located in the west choir of Naumburg Cathedral. Due to the look of the depicted lady, this work is considered the most beautiful of the twelve. The name of the statue is Uta of Naumburg.

„Pietá“ by Anna Chromy
In 1999 a strange figurine appeared in the city of Salzburg. It had chosen a prominent place under the Cathedral Archway between Domplatz and Kapitelplatz: The sculpture „Pietá“ by Czech painter and sculptor Anna Chromy.
Gänsemädchenbrunnen in Vienna
Someone in Vienna obviously doesn’t like monuments. The photo shows the Gänsemädchenbrunnen, a fountain located near the Museumsquartier in Vienna. The sculpture features a girl herding geese. The creator of this work was the Czech sculptor Antonín Pavel Wagner.

‘Stadtkern’ of Graz
Fun idea: Near the geographic centre of my city a model of a peach stone indicates the city centre. This is a pun as in the German language we use for the centre of a city and the stone of a fruit the same term: ‘Kern’. The sculpture was designed by the artists Anne and Peter Knoll.
