The Austrian museum about paper making (Österreichisches Papiermuseum) is placed in the halls of a former paper mill in Steyrermühl. There you can learn something about the different ways of paper making beginning with the papyrus of the ancient Egypt up to the huge paper mills of today.

In August 2007 I visited the Styrian Armoury (Landeszeughaus) in Graz which is famous for its large collection of weaponry and armour intended for a defensive army against Ottoman and Hungarian troops. More…
