On my train journey to Brno, I passed the Gasometer City in Vienna. Can you see the modern houses inside the structures of former gas holders?

My 10th day of my InterRail journey started in Vienna. From my train to Brno I had an excellent view of the huge construction site for the new Vienna Central Station (Wiener Hauptbahnhof).

The 9th day of my InterRail journey ended at the railway station Wiener Westbahnhof in Vienna. It was nearly midnight when I arrived. Only the statue of Elisabeth of Austria (‘Sisi’) bid me welcome.

While waiting for my Railjet to Zurich I glimpse at Schattenburg Castle (Schattenburg). It seems to guard the tunnel right next to the railway station of Feldkirch.

Today I visited a reading in Vienna. Star of the event was the dog Pecorino. He and his master became famous for doing a pilgrimage in Italy. Pecorino is considered to be the first dog of owning a pilgrimage pass.
