Sundial with zodiac signs seen at the Marienkirche in Maria Saal. This church is considered as one of the oldest one in the Austrian state of Carinthia. It is also famous for several Roman gravestones, e.g. the mail coach stone.

Two beauties of Graz: The landmark of Graz named Uhrturm in the background and the Franciscan Church (Franziskanerkirche) in the foreground. The church is part of the oldest monastery in the city. Sometimes I am using the hidden cloister for relaxing from the hurly-burly of the shopping streets in Graz.
After leaving the railway station Mistelbach/Stadt I came across one of my first sundials in Austria. The piece placed on a private home in Lower Austria shows local agricultural products like corn and grapes. The German phrase ‘’Nuetz die Zeit!’ reminds people to use their time carefully.
