A typical Carinthian dish: Kasnudeln

Before I joined a guided tour through the oldest city of Carinthia I had a typical dish of Carinthia. Its name is Kasnudeln. This is a thinly rolled noodle dough that is shaped to a pocket filled with quark. In general, it is spiced with mint and chervil.

The town walls of Friesach, Austria

The town of Friesach is still surrounded by a water-filled moat. The structure on the left side is a reconstruction of a Bäckertauche. In earlier times a Bäckertauche was used as a punishment tool similar to a cucking stool.
