Loudspeaker in Bratislava

Loudspeaker in Bratislava, Slovakia

This speaker near Bratislava’s central station reminds me that I used to see many of them on my travels through small Czech and Slovakian towns. They were positioned at regular intervals and seemed to be able to provide a whole village with information.

Mural at the hall of Bratislava Central Station

Mural at the hall of Bratislava hlavná stanica (Bratislava central station). Though it is the central station of Bratislava this railway station is not that large. I wonder if the object at the upper edge of the mural is showing a comet or a technical space object like Sputnik?
